Mohammad Nauman Jalil
Mohammad joined the CBM team in August 2016 as a Doctoral Researcher on ‘The Evaluation of advanced materials for the additive manufacture of medical implants’.
Prior to his current role, Mohammad completed a Masters Access scholarship programme which researched novel techniques and materials for the fabrication of tissue engineering scaffolds. His research focused on the fabrication of 3D scaffolds composed of jellyfish collagen using electrospinning at Swansea University in partnership with a local start-up company called Jellagen.
He previously completed his BEng in Medical Engineering at Swansea University and worked with the College of Medicine and the College of Engineering, researching methods of evaluating the neuroprotective effect of the stomach hormone Ghrelin.
