CBM is working in partnership with two Welsh artists, Bryan Thomas and Peter Finnemore, on an Arts Council of Wales funded research and development project, exploring the potential of advanced manufacturing technologies to help realise and develop new artworks.
Taking the Arts Council’s Inspire strategy as its starting point, the collaboration between CBM and Bryan and Peter will seek to use modern technology in a collaborative process to create new, inspiring and challenging visual artworks.
This is an exciting time for artists working at the interface between traditional artistic activities and modern technology. The support of the Arts Council of Wales has enabled CBM and two Welsh artists to explore the enormous potential for realising new artistic creativity and vision. The project offers enormous potential, particularly for Welsh artistic life and activity.
